This device can detect motion up to 15' away, and when a door or window opens and closes.

In addition, the Pathlight feature will briefly illuminate the area when you walk past the Detect and will turn off once you've walked away from it. This system is capable of Wi-Fi connectivity on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

Utilizing 8 IR LEDs, the camera transitions from day to night settings allowing you to keep an eye on the area regardless of the lighting levels. The camera features customizable options, including scheduled recording times and motion and audio detection alerts sent to your mobile device.

For video playback and time-lapse recording, subscribe to the Nest Aware software which offers storage space, as well as additional features like advanced motion detection with facial recognition, and customized activity zones for monitoring movement in a specific area.
